A fertility platform for the people the category never designed for — calm, intelligent, and built for both partners.
Fertility journeys live across a dozen surfaces: cycle apps, lab portals, clinic emails, IVF spreadsheets, support forums, and a Notes app full of questions for the next doctor's visit. EggWise consolidates that mess into one calm, AI-powered companion — for her, for him, for couples, and for the specialists treating them.
Fertility care is one of the most fragmented experiences in healthcare. A patient trying to conceive may use one app for cycle tracking, a different one for medication reminders, a portal for lab results, a Google Doc to track IVF costs, a Reddit thread for emotional support, and a clinic system that doesn't talk to any of it. Their partner is mostly invisible to the whole tooling stack.
Specialists, on the other end, walk into appointments without context. They re-ask questions the patient has already answered five times. The result: patients feel unheard, and doctors lose the first 10 minutes of every consult catching up.
The brief was to build something that worked for everyone on the journey — without becoming a 20-tab dashboard nobody reads.
Approach
WiseAssist as the calm front doorInstead of a wall of charts, the home screen leads with a conversational AI assistant powered by Gemini 2.0 Flash. Users type questions in plain English ("what does my high AMH mean?"); the assistant answers with context from their own logged data.
One number, not twelveEgg Quality Score and Sperm Health Score — two daily 0–100 numbers derived from cycle, BBT, OPKs, lifestyle factors. Users can drill into the underlying signals, but they don't have to.
Camera-based ovulation test scannerPoint your phone at an OPK strip; the app reads it. Removes the "is that line really darker?" guessing that drives the worst part of TTC.
Specialist marketplace with shared dataBook a verified fertility specialist directly in the app. Doctors review the patient's tracked data before the appointment — turning the first 10 minutes from catch-up into care.
Dual experience: For Her, For Him, For CouplesSperm health is a 50% factor in fertility but receives ~5% of the design attention in the category. EggWise treats both partners as protagonists with their own dashboards, scores, and education — synced when they want it.

"Most fertility apps treat the woman as a database and the man as an afterthought. EggWise treats both people as protagonists — and the doctor as a partner, not a destination."
